Letter from Northview Heights Citizens Council

On October 4th, 2012, the Northview Heights Citizens Council in conjunction with One Pittsburgh hosted a voter registration drive and community send-off cookout as Libya Wilson left Pittsburgh to join the Bain Bus tour. Libya Wilson is a Northview Heights resident and One Pittsburgh activist who spoke and graced the crowd with her message for voting and standing up to make a difference. Libya is dedicated to the grassroots movement for political and economic reform. Libya continues to empower those she comes into contact with. Northview Heights residents, like Libya, will help the Citizens Council continue to move forward our advocacy for more jobs, better paying jobs, and improving the status of our community. Community members coming together and standing up to better our city and country is a necessary and welcomed step forward. Thank you, Libya, for your dedication.

Sincerely,

President Valerie Lauw
